BNS is a new criminal code that replaces the IPC . It's a criminal justice reform that's part of three laws. The other two laws are the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) replacing the CrPC and the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA) replacing the Indian Evidence Act.
